L’arbitrage : « La perte de temps est une chose commune entre toutes les ligues. Dans notre championnat, les arbitres ne sifflent pas tous les contacts. Ce qui permet d’avoir plus de temps de jeu. »
Bien jouer ou gagner ? : « Gagner est le plus important. Tu as plus de possibilité de gagner si tu joues bien. Après il faut définir jouer bien. Jouer bien veut dire aussi bien défendre. La clé est l’équilibre : il faut bien travailler avec ballon comme sans ballon. »
Améliorer la défense : « Je pense que lorsque l’équipe est en place, elle défend bien. Ce que nous devons améliorer est le pressing haut. On ne peut pas toujours défendre bas, avec un bloc bas. On doit jouer beaucoup plus haut, il faut améliorer cela. »
Camavinga : « Il a tout pour jouer au Real Madrid. Il est très jeune. Il joue sans pression. Il est très joyeux dans le vestiaire et essaye d’apprendre l’espagnol le plus vite possible. La fraicheur de la jeunesse. J’ai aussi parlé avec lui sur son positionnement, il a joué 6 mais c’est vrai qu’il peut jouer un peu plus devant. C’est un milieu central complet et moderne. »
Relation avec le Real Madrid : « Ma relation avec le club est très bonne pour le moment et c’est pour ça que j’ai dit que j’étais en lune de miel ici. Jamais il n’y aura de manque de respect de ma part envers ce club, et c’est la même chose de l’autre côté. »
Les blessures : « Les blessures touchent toutes les équipes. Une saison est éprouvante pour les joueurs. Nous devons vivre avec ces problèmes. L’effectif est complet. C’est dommage de subir des blessures mais c’est la réalité. On voudrait avoir tous les joueurs disponibles mais ce n’est pas possible. »
La forme : « Je pense qu’il faut améliorer l’aspect défensif. On est à 50-60% de notre forme pour moi. Jusqu’à présent, nous avons disputé 6 matchs, dont 5 à l’extérieur. L’équipe a beaucoup de courage. »
